The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K is a compact Super 35 cine-style camera in the Blackmagic Design lineup, offering high-end imaging capabilities in a more affordable package. It retains the 6K S35 sensor, advanced recording features, dynamic range, interface ports, and controls found in the 6K Pro, while refining certain aspects to provide a budget-friendly alternative. Key features carried over from the 6K Pro include a 5” tilting touchscreen LCD, support for the Pro EVF and battery grip, dual mini-XLR audio inputs, an NP-F570 L-series battery slot, and the updated Gen 5 color science for enhanced color rendering. By removing internal ND filters and reducing LCD brightness, Blackmagic offers users the flexibility to choose between two nearly identical 6K models, tailored to their specific production needs.
