The ARRI Alexa Mini is a compact, lightweight, and self-contained camera designed for maximum versatility. Introduced in 2015, it quickly became a go-to choice within the ARRI lineup for productions needing high-end image quality in a smaller form factor.
It delivers the renowned ALEXA look in a body that adapts easily to a wide range of setups, from handheld and gimbal work to drones and tight rig configurations. Key capabilities include high-speed recording up to 200 fps, internal Apple ProRes recording to CFast 2.0 media, and support for advanced features such as ARRIRAW, the full 4:3 3.4K sensor, and the ARRI Look Library (with appropriate licenses).
The Alexa Mini also offers flexibility with interchangeable lens mounts, making it compatible with PL, EF, B4, and LPL lenses, including ARRI Signature Primes.
