The HXCU-TX70 is a 19 inches full rack (1.5RU height) unit exclusively designed for use with the HXC-D70 camera for low-latency digital Triax operation. The completed signal interface ports are available on rear side of the HXCU-TX70 such as HD-SDI, SD-SDI, Prompter and Return video. Variety of remote control panels are available to control and adjust the camera parameters -- HKCU-FP2 front control panel that can directly be attached to the front panel of the HXCU-TX70, and RCP-1000/1001/1500/1501 remote control panel.

Sony CA-TX70 Digital Triax Camera Adaptor for HXC-D70, PMW320/400/500

The Sony CA-TX70 Digital Triax Camera Adaptor for HXC-D70, PMW320/400/500 is for camera owners who wish to integrate their cameras into a production environment that uses Digital Triax to control the camera functioins. It attaches to the camera/camcorder body and adapts the HXC-D70, PMW320/400/500 for use with an available HXCU-100 CCU (Camera Control Unit), expanding the capabilities of your camera.

When connected to the compatible HXCU-100 CCU (not included), the system provides the camera with Tally, intercom connections, mic switch, as well as return signal select. The CA-TX70 features a Prompter output, and the adapter allows the camera/camcorder to communicate with a CCU at distances of upto 1968 feet when using appropriate cable and CCU.

Triax System

Allows the HXC-D70, PMW200/400/500 to interface with Triax cable systems, providing the following features when using an available CCU.

Tally - red/green light

Intercom functions - including connector for headset, intercom level adjustment, mic switch, and call button.

Prompter output

Return signal - allows the operator to select and view what the other camera operators are shooting.

Sony RMB-170

The Sony RMB-170 Handheld Remote Control Unit is designed for use with the PMW-500, PMW-320, PMW-350, PMW-F3, PDW-700, PDW-F800, BVP-950A, BVP-750A, BVP-570, BVP-550, HDW-700A, HDW-F900, and DSR-450WSL Camcorders.

This unit utilizes the new studio camera command system and can be used in place of the RCP-700 series Remote Control Panels. When used with the supplied 32.80' (10 m) interconnect remote cable, a monitor output for a picture monitor is provided on the RMB-170 Unit (for all camcorders except the HD units).
