Features
The 18-Series monitor is an Auto Setup Unit. By using an optional Auto Setup Probe (ASP- 15), the following functions can be automatically setup at a referenced level or stored in less than 50 seconds.

All switching operations are digitally controlled with no objectionable noise on the screen.
Two composite video inputs, one R, G, B/Component input, one Y/C input and one external sync input are provided as standard to meet any signal source. The component input levels can be selected for format standard. (SMPTE/N10/Beta).
The 18-Series has construction allows circuit adjustment and module removal for internal maintenance during rack-mounted operation without removing from the rack.
Feedback Clamp System insures black level and white balance stability.
The 18-Series has an automatic degaussing circuit which is operated with power-on. This prevents misconvergence due to shadow-mask magnetization when the monitor is rotated or moved.
In-line gun, dot shadow mask CRT assures excellent color reproduction and fine picture with mask pitches: 0.31mm for the 14" and 0.43mm for the 20".
CRT protection circuit protects the CRT from damage or burning due to deflection failure and over-voltage.
H.DEF./H.V. circuits permit stable raster size at all times against rapid APL change or high brightness signal input.
