The Sony BVP-550WS digital broadcast camera is a true “studio companion” camera with three native 16X9 2/3” CCD imagers for the highest quality and resolution. This camera is perfect for multi-cam and blue screen work because of its superior controllability of all camera set up parameters not found in industrial or prosumer cameras. It is switchable from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio, has scene files, is super sensitive in low light with low noise, has a 26-pin component output, and composite output, is dockable to Betacam SP, DVCAM and Betacam SX recorders or can be used stand alone with Digital Betacam and DVC Pro separate recorders, or with a camera base station/paint box for multi-cam applications. It comes with a Fujinon broadcast 18:1 lens, a no charge Standard Support Package which includes a Fujinon variable rate remote zoom control, Sacthler Video 20 fluid head and carbon tripod, Sony PVM-8045Q 8” color monitor, Empire Li-Ion or Anton Bauer Pro-Pac 14 camera batteries and Titan 70 on-board AC supply/fast charger, NP-1B monitor batteries, cables, and shipping cases.
